• The UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant mortar pump is a cantilever single-stage single suction centrifugal pump designed and developed by the company specifically for power plant flue gas desulfurization and sewage treatment projects. The pump is made of steel lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and has excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. This pump is widely used for the transportation of any concentration of acid, alkali, salt (chloride ion medium), strong oxidant, organic solvent and other media with a temperature below 100 degrees and a solid content (not limited to hard and soft particles) not exceeding 40%. It can replace imported products and is an ideal pump for power plants or various chemical enterprises to meet environmental standards for flue gas desulfurization.

  Product Features:

  The UHB-ZK series corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump is a type of pump that can adapt to various working conditions, such as conveying acid, alkaline clear liquid or slurry; Various corrosive slurries in the smelting industry; Various dilute acids in the sulfuric acid industry; Various types of wastewater in the environmental protection industry. This pump is both corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant, and has a wide range of applications. Has the following characteristics:

  1) Strong wear resistance: All overcurrent components are made of steel lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), which has a wear resistance that is four times higher than nylon 66 (PA66) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and 7-10 times higher than carbon steel and stainless steel.

  2) Strong impact resistance: Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene has an impact strength that ranks among general engineering plastics, five times that of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS), and can maintain stability at minus 196 ℃, which is a characteristic that no other plastic has.

  3) Excellent corrosion resistance: The pump can withstand various corrosive media (acids, bases, salts) and organic solvents within a certain temperature and concentration range. It can be immersed in 80 types of organic solvents at 20 ℃ and 90 ℃ for 30 days. There are no abnormal phenomena on the surface, and other physical properties have hardly changed.

  4) No noise: Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene has the highest impact absorption capacity among plastics, with good noise reduction, thus minimizing the noise generated by liquid flow during transportation.

  5) Safe and reliable, non-toxic decomposition: The pump uses ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) with extremely stable chemical properties, making it also suitable for use in the food industry.

  6) Low friction coefficient: The internal friction system of the pump is only 0.07-0.11, indicating self-lubricating properties. Under water lubrication conditions, its dynamic friction coefficient is half that of PA66 and polyoxymethylene (POM). When working in sliding or rotating form, the lubricity is better than that of steel and brass with lubricating oil added.

  7) Good anti adhesion: Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) has excellent anti adhesion * and comparable anti adhesion ability to PTFE, making it outstanding when transporting media with high viscosity.

  UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump model meaning:

  Main performance of UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump:

  1) Corrosion resistant and wear-resistant, versatile with one pump, suitable for both acidic and alkaline clear liquid slurries.

  2) The pump body is made of steel lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene structure, with a lining thickness of 8-20mm. This pump applies plastic lining technology, and compared with other similar pumps, it has the advantages of good thermal deformation resistance, cracking resistance, anti detachment, and high operating temperature of the lining layer.

  3) There are two types of impellers: separated and closed, which can be selected according to the condition of the medium.

  4) Sealing: K-type power seal, K1 type power seal, T-type packing seal, T1 type packing seal, C3 type non-standard seal.

  5) Applicable media: sulfuric acid with a concentration of less than 80%, nitric acid with a concentration of less than 50%, hydrochloric acid of various concentrations, liquid alkali, suitable for both clear liquids and slurries.

  4. Main technical parameters: operating temperature of -20 ℃~90 ℃ (using modified materials, can be increased to above 100 ℃), inlet diameter of 32mm~350mm, flow rate of 5-2600m3/h, head within 80m.

  Application scope of UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump:

  1) Sulfuric acid phosphate fertilizer industry: transportation of dilute acid, mother liquor, sewage, seawater, fluorosilicic acid containing silica gel, phosphoric acid slurry and other media.

  2) Nonferrous metal smelting industry: particularly suitable for the transportation of various acid liquids, corrosive slurry, slurry (used for filter presses), electrolyte, sewage and other media in wet metallurgy of lead, zinc, gold, silver, copper, manganese, cobalt, rare earths, etc.

  Start up, operation, and maintenance of UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump:

  1. Preparation before operation:

  Before trial operation, the coupling or shaft should be manually rotated to check whether the steering is correct and whether the operation is flexible. If the rotation is not smooth, it should be checked. If there is any movement or abnormal sound, it should be checked in a timely manner. When checking, first manually check whether the coupling is horizontal from the outside, and check whether the lubricating oil position is near the centerline of the oil mirror from the oil mirror hole on the bearing seat (if there is too much, some should be drained, and if there is too little, some should be added). Check while turning. If the problem still exists, the pump should be disassembled for inspection (please refer to the structural diagram and disassembly procedure in this manual when disassembling the pump). Clean up foreign objects and negotiate with the factory to find a solution.

  2. Driving steps:

  a、 Fill the pump with liquid

  b、 Timely open the inlet valve (if the inlet and outlet valves are one-way check valves, manual operation is not required)

  c、 Power on

  d、 Open the Cukou valve

  3. Run:

  If there is any abnormal sound or motor heating during operation, the machine should also be stopped for inspection. The inspection method and steps are the same as 1.

  4. Parking steps:

  a、 Close the valve at the outlet first

  b、 Cut off the power and promptly close the inlet valve; If the imported valve is a one-way check valve, manual operation is not required

  5. Maintenance

  a、 The lubricating oil inside the bearing seat should be replaced regularly, usually every six months.

  b、 In cold seasons, if there is icing after stopping the pump, the cooling water at the sealing point should be connected first. If necessary, the water can be heated and thawed. Then, manually rotate the coupling until it runs smoothly, and then follow the start-up steps to start the car.

  c、 Pumps with cooling water devices should be connected to the cooling water before starting. When the pump is running normally, it can be continued to be connected. If conditions do not allow, it can also be stopped. There are no requirements for the flow rate and pressure of the cooling water, and tap water is sufficient;

  d、 The operation of the pump when the outlet valve is closed is called the closed pressure operation state. The closed pressure operation time of the all plastic pump or lined plastic pump should be minimized as much as possible. The normal temperature medium should not exceed 5 minutes, and the high temperature medium should not exceed 2 minutes;

  e、 For pumps with a casing of more than 50mm, the sealing plastic at the dividing surface may change in size due to thermal expansion and contraction. When installing, the connecting screws at the dividing surface should be tightened first, and then the inlet pipeline should be connected to prevent leakage at the dividing surface. This is particularly important for users in the north;

  f、 The pump cannot bear the weight of the inlet and outlet pipelines. The shorter the inlet pipeline, the better. The vertical distance from the pump outlet to the valve should be as short as possible;

  g、 Ensure that there are no water stains on the motor to prevent it from getting damp.

  Disassembly and assembly procedure for UHB-ZK corrosion-resistant and frosted slurry pump:

  1. Without impeller rhyme mask (for pumps with imported diameter ≤ 125mm)

  Disassembly and assembly sequence: (refer to the structural diagram in this manual)

  a、 Loosen the connecting bolts between pump body 5 and pump cover, and remove the pump cover

  b、 Loosen the impeller cap 2 (left-hand thread) and anti rotation nut 3 (left-hand thread), and remove the impeller 4

  c、 Loosen the connecting bolts between pump body 5 and bearing seat 10, and remove pump body 5

  d、 Loosen the connecting bolt between seal box 6 and pump body 5, and remove seal box 6

  e、 Unscrew the rear pressure cup on the sealing box and remove the oil seal

  The installation sequence is opposite to the disassembly sequence, and it should be noted that:

  After tightening the impeller cap, check the gap between the impeller and the pump body, which should be around 2mm

  b、 After installing the pump cup, check the gap between the pump cover and impeller (looking inward from the outlet), which should be around 2mm. For high-temperature media, the gap should be around 2.5mm

  c、 If the gap 1 between the impeller and the pump body does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted by adding or removing shims between the impeller and the shaft sleeve

  d、 If the gap between the pump cover and impeller does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted by adding or removing gaskets between the pump body and the pump cover

  2. Pump with impeller (inlet diameter>125mm)

  Disassembly and assembly sequence: (refer to the structural diagram in the instruction manual)

  a、 Loosen the connecting bolts between pump body 5 and pump cover l, and remove pump cover 1

  b、 Loosen the impeller cap 2 (left-hand thread>and anti rotation nut 3 (left-hand thread), and remove the impeller 4

  c、 Loosen the connecting thread between pump body 5 and bearing seat 12, the connecting bolt between sealing box 7 and pump body, and remove pump body 5

  d、 Remove the impeller, sealing box, oil seal, and shaft sleeve in sequence

  The installation sequence is opposite to the disassembly sequence, and it should be noted that:

  a、 After tightening the nut behind the impeller cap and the water stop ring, check the gap between the impeller and the pump body, which should be around 2.5mm

  b、 After installing the pump cover, check the gap between the pump cover and the impeller (looking inward from the outlet), which should be around 2mm. For high-temperature media, the gap should be around 2.5mm

  c、 If the gap between the impeller and the pump body does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted by adding or removing shims between the impeller and the shaft sleeve

  d、 Pump cover: If the gap between the pump body and the impeller does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted by adding or removing gaskets between the pump body and the pump cover.
