Combustible | Toxic Gas Detector | Alarm Installation Method and Precautions
gas alarmThe controller needs to be installed on the wall of the duty room or monitoring room, at a distance of about 160CM from the ground. The specific installation position of the detector is determined by the specific gravity of the gas, and the specific installation plan is as follows:
1. When the density of the detected gas is greater than that of air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ground, with the sensor facing downwards.
2. When the density of the detected gas is lower than that of air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ceiling, with the sensor facing downwards.
The installation position of the probe is determined according to the relevant provisions of GB50493-2009 "Design Specification for Combustible Gas Detection and Alarm in Petrochemical Industry" based on the density and wind direction of the detected gas. The installation position of the detector should avoid air flow during installation.
In general, the area suitable for indoor space should be evenly distributed according to the protection radius, that is, the detector should be installed within a distance of 7.5m from the release source or within a horizontal distance of 15m between two detectors; The indoor space of the ventilation area should be arranged with detectors according to the outdoor situation. The installation of detectors should be arranged outdoors, and the distance between the gas release source and the wind side at all frequencies should be 15m. The distance between the gas release source and the wind side at all frequencies should be 5m.
The installation height of the detector for detecting heavier gases than air should be 0.3-0.6m from the surface; the installation height of the detector for detecting lighter gases than air should be 0.5-2m higher than the release source
Explanation: A gas density of 0.97kg/m3 (standard state) is considered heavier than air, while a gas density of 0.97kg/m3 (standard state) is considered lighter than air.
Installation precautions
The Huiruipu HRP-T1000 detector is installed in areas where the detected gas is prone to leakage. The installation location is determined by the relative gravity of the detected gas to air. When the specific gravity of the detected gas is greater than that of air, the detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ground, with the sensor facing downwards.
When the specific gravity of the detected gas is less than that of air, the detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ceiling, with the sensor facing downwards.
To use the detector correctly and prevent detector malfunctions, please do not install it in the following locations:
1. Places directly affected by steam and oil fumes;
2. Places with high airflow, such as air vents, ventilation fans, and doors;
3. Places with high levels of moisture and water droplets (relative humidity: ≥ 90% RH);
4. Places with temperatures below -40 ℃ or above 55 ℃;
