At 20:45 on December 27, 2019, the Long March 5 Y3 carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. About 2220 seconds later, the rocket separated and accurately launched the Shijian 20 satellite into its designated orbit.

At 04:30 on November 24, 2020, the Long March 5 Y3 carrier rocket was ignited and launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. After about 2200 seconds of flight, the rocket successfully sent the Chang'e-5 probe into its designated orbit, opening China's first journey of sampling and returning extraterrestrial celestial bodies.
