Electromagnetic flowmeter manufacturerElectromagnetic flowmeter is a flow measurement instrument that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the volumetric flow rate (velocity) of conductive liquids. The transmitter has almost no pressure loss and no moving parts inside, making it easy to measure the flow rate of corrosive media with coatings or liners. The detection process is not affected by changes in the temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, and flow state of the measured medium. There is no phenomenon of measurement lag.
Electromagnetic flowmeter manufacturerAn electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts: an electromagnetic flow sensor and a converter. Sensors are installed on industrial process pipelines, and their function is to linearly transform the volume flow rate value of the liquid flowing into the pipeline into an induced potential signal, and send this signal to the converter through a transmission line. The converter is installed not too far from the sensor, which amplifies the flow signal sent by the sensor and converts it into a standard electrical signal output proportional to the flow signal for display, accumulation, and adjustment control.
Precautions for using electromagnetic flowmeter
The liquid should have the required conductivity for measurement, and the conductivity distribution should be generally uniform. Therefore, the installation of flow sensors should avoid areas that are prone to uneven conductivity, such as adding liquid near the upstream and setting the liquid addition point downstream of the sensor. The sensor measuring tube must be filled with liquid during use (except for non full tube types).
When mixed, its distribution should be roughly uniform.
The liquid should have the same potential as the ground and must be grounded. When insulating materials such as plastic are used in process pipelines, friction and static electricity may occur during the transportation of liquids, resulting in a potential difference between the liquid and the ground.
