From August 12th to 14th, the 34th China International Measurement, Control and Instrumentation Exhibition (MICONEX 2026, formerly known as the Multi country Instrumentation Exhibition), hosted by the China Instrumentation Society, was grandly held at the Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hefei.
The 2026 China Conference on Measurement, Control and Instrumentation Industry (CIC) will be held concurrently with the exhibition. The conference is hosted by the China Instrumentation Society and co organized by Hefei Luyang Science and Technology Innovation Group Co., Ltd. The theme of this conference is "Empowering Manufacturing Industry with Digital Intelligence and Collaborative Innovation for the Future", focusing on core directions such as new generation intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and industrial digital transformation, and building an integrated communication platform for government, industry, academia, research, and application. Multiple industry academicians, authoritative experts, and enterprise leaders bring cutting-edge technology sharing and in-depth industry interpretation.

1. Achievements and challenges. China's air pollution control has achieved significant results (PM2.5, sulfur dioxide, etc. have significantly decreased), but the situation of meeting standards is still severe, facing new challenges such as coordinated control of fine particulate matter and ozone, large regional differences, and the impact of climate change.
2. Technological breakthroughs. We have achieved all-round stereoscopic perception from satellites (5 atmospheric environment satellites have been launched), drones (high-precision traceability), LiDAR to ground stations (Fourier spectroscopy technology). 1. Strategic background. China is a manufacturing powerhouse, but with a high proportion of traditional industries, it faces an urgent need for transformation and upgrading. The world is considering "AI+manufacturing" as the key to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and China has also elevated it to a national strategy.
