Shanghai Hongyi Stainless Steel Pressure GaugeAlthough it has advantages such as corrosion resistance and high strength, regular maintenance is still required for long-term use to ensure measurement accuracy and extend service life. The following are detailed maintenance precautions:
1. Regular inspection and cleaning
Check the appearance:
Observe the case, connectors, and pressure pipes for corrosion, cracks, and leaks.
Check if the dial glass is damaged or blurry, affecting the reading.
Clean the surface:
Wipe the watch case with a soft cloth and neutral cleaner, avoiding the use of strong acid/alkali cleaners (which may corrode the stainless steel surface).
If the medium is prone to crystallization or adhesion (such as syrup or mud), it is necessary to regularly clean the pressure holes to prevent blockage.
2. Prevent overload and impact
Avoid overpressure usage:
The working pressure should be within the range of 1/3 to 2/3 of the measuring range (e.g. measuring range of 10MPa, optimal working pressure of 3.3~6.6MPa).
If the pressure fluctuation is large, shock resistant type (filled with silicone oil) or equipped with buffer valve/pulse damper should be selected.
Preventing mechanical impact:
Avoid forcefully tapping the case during installation to prevent deformation of the internal movement.
Shock absorbers should be used in environments with high vibration, such as near pumps and compressors.
3. Sealing inspection
Check threaded connections:
Ensure that there is no leakage at the connection between the pressure gauge and the pipeline, and replace the PTFE sealing tape or metal gasket if necessary.
If flange connection is used, check whether the bolts are loose and whether the sealing surface is intact.
Diaphragm pressure gauge:
Check whether the diaphragm is damaged or deformed (especially when measuring corrosive media).
If diaphragm bulging or leakage is found, it should be replaced immediately to prevent the medium from corroding the internal movement.
4. Regular verification
Verification cycle:
Normal working conditions: Verify once every 6-12 months (according to enterprise standards or ISO 9001 requirements).
Strict working conditions (high temperature, corrosion, vibration): Verify every 3-6 months.
Verification method:
Compare readings using a standard pressure source (such as a pressure calibration pump), and adjust or replace if the error exceeds the accuracy level (such as level 1.6).
If the instrument has live contacts or remote transmission signals, it is necessary to synchronously check whether the switch action and output current are accurate.
5. Maintenance under special working conditions
(1) High temperature environment (>200 ℃)
Check if the heat sink or cooling pipe is working properly to prevent the movement from aging due to high temperature.
Select a shock resistant pressure gauge filled with high-temperature silicone oil to prevent pointer shaking caused by medium vaporization.
(2) Corrosive media (acid, alkali, chloride ions)
316L stainless steel is resistant to general corrosion, but it still needs to be regularly inspected after long-term exposure to strong acids (such as hydrochloric acid).
If the medium contains solid particles (such as mud), it is recommended to install isolation membranes or flushing rings.
(3) Sanitary applications (food, pharmaceuticals)
Check the sealing of the instrument after each CIP (online cleaning) to prevent the infiltration of cleaning agents.
Use polished stainless steel casing to prevent residual dirt from breeding bacteria.
