The design of the Rain Testing Laboratory aims to save water resources, using all stainless steel precision welding and laser drilling for spray holes. The cavity is smooth and free of burrs, and there is a baffle (SUS304) in front of the nozzle. The adjustable nozzle can spray raindrops from different angles during water testing, and the baffle can be removed. Suitable for products that may be affected by various types of flushing or violent waves. Suitable for immediate assembly after long-distance transportation, fast and convenient, shortening the installation and debugging cycle. It consists of fixed columns, column type lifting rails, drip tanks, water level regulating supply tanks, automatic elevators, flow meters, filter paper, adjustable angle workbenches, electrical control boxes, etc.

Except for the workbench, all parts in contact with water in the rain test room are made of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel/copper. To ensure that the rain test meets the test requirements, the pipeline system is also equipped with flow meters, filters, pressure gauges, and other devices. Before use, the rain intensity and spray pressure should be verified to meet the requirements before use. In addition to meeting the requirements of rain intensity and pressure, automatic control of rain and drying time should also be implemented, and photoelectric switches and time relays should be installed at the entrance of the laboratory. After the rain test room is put into use, the circulating water and clean water tank should be replaced regularly. The rain test laboratory is mainly used to assess and verify the sealing performance of large equipment and vehicles against water. The laboratory has taken into account the requirements for different sizes of test samples in terms of pipeline layout design, and can conduct independent testing in small areas, combination of two areas, and overall testing in three areas. The equipment adopts spraying in five directions: top, left and right, and front and back. The experimental rainfall intensity range is (5-7) mm/min. After a few days of use, the water will become foul smelling. It is recommended to change the water frequently and clean the water tank regularly. If the test is not conducted for a long time, the water should be drained in a timely manner.

The number of water pump configurations, head, flow rate, and pipeline diameter should meet the requirements for system use. Each spray surface should cover the vehicle models with the largest external dimensions Z involved in the rain test, as well as the various inspected parts of each vehicle model. The rain device should ensure that water is sprayed from the front, back, side, bottom, and top directions of the vehicle to avoid blind spots and ensure that the spray pressure and flow rate correspond to the standard requirements of each part of the vehicle. The framework structure of the rainwater pipeline ensures rust prevention and shock resistance while maintaining simplicity and aesthetics. The entire equipment is reliable and easy to operate, making it convenient for component maintenance and repair.

In order to save water resources, the rain test laboratory generally uses recycled test water. The water tank has three interconnected tanks with filter screens to complete functions such as return water, filtration, sedimentation, and water absorption. The total capacity of the pool should not only meet the water demand of vehicles, but also allow sufficient time for water to settle. Due to the frequent use of rain testing laboratories in automobile production, in order to ensure water quality, the storage capacity of the water tank is relatively large, generally above 60m3. The specific size of the water tank is determined according to the actual terrain and production capacity. At the same time, the rain test room of the automobile production plant is located inside the final assembly workshop. To ensure the cleanliness of the workshop, in addition to a return water tank, a water separation tank and rain curtain should also be installed at the vehicle entrance and exit in the rain test area to prevent rainwater from spraying outside the room. This rain proof room is mainly used to test the water tightness of cars. Through the rain proof room, the conditions for rain proof testing are similar to the natural state outside to confirm the water tightness status of cars. The rain test room adopts a spraying method and reaches a certain level of rain intensity to spray the surface of the car window and the top of the tent. At the same time, it is equipped with a sewage treatment device to filter the circulating water, remove mud, sand and impurities, and make it meet the standard of circulating water. The frame structure of the rain shelter is welded on site.
