Overview:
The 10-AU produced by Turner Designs in the United States is a sturdy and durable on-site portable instrument that can be set for continuous flow monitoring or discrete sample analysis. Waterproof chassis, built-in data acquisition, automatic range setting, waterproof quick filter replacement, and super stability make 10-AU the choice for on-site monitoring instruments. Multiple compound components can be determined by using specific optical filters.
Features:
Stable measurement: 10 AU makes long-term monitoring possible, even in the event of drastic changes in external temperature or power fluctuations. Stable continuous measurements can last for weeks or months.
Waterproof filter wing: allows for easy replacement of excitation and emission filters, located on the front panel of the instrument.
Ultra wide dynamic range: The measurement range can span up to 4 digits, and with the simplest single point calibration, the automatic range feature can automatically read high and low concentrations.
● Automatic correction: 10-AU can automatically match the appropriate sensitivity range for each sample, without the need for user adjustment or affecting calibration.
Flexible sample capacity: Provides 25, 10, 3, and 1 millimeter continuous flow injection systems, optional discrete sample tube devices, with 25 x 150 millimeter, 13 x 100 millimeter tubes, and 10 x 10 mm adapters.
Anti concentration sample chamber: The unique sealed sample chamber eliminates abnormal readings caused by concentration in the flow chamber.
● Super waterproof design. Through a waterproof casing, the 10-AU can be brought to any natural environment for use.
● Highly portable performance: It can easily complete unmanned remote operation, and can work continuously for several days with the ship's battery through a 12V power cord.
Typical on-site setup
On site continuous flow measurement
Equipped with a 25mm continuous flow chamber, waterproof chassis, built-in data acquisition and 12VDC power/signal lines, it is an ideal on-site measurement system. The temperature compensation function is a recommended option for dye tracing research. If the instrument needs to be transported and carried frequently, it is recommended to purchase a transport case.
Discrete Sample Study
Equipped with an indoor chassis and discrete sample system with 13 or 25mm test tubes, the 10-AU becomes a powerful indoor analyzer, such as an ocean research vessel or on-site laboratory.
Sampling Options
● Connected flow chamber. The 25mm connected flow chamber has the characteristics of easy cleaning, avoiding sample leakage and overflow, and simple calibration. Discrete sample injection is designed as a Luer locking port, which allows for rapid calibration without the need to convert the injection system. During cleaning, a built-in port provides easy access to the flow chamber. You can choose a flow chamber made of glass or transparent quartz.
25mm and 13mm test tube systems. Easy to replace test tubes, the 25mm rack can accommodate 25 x 150mm test tubes. And by inserting the 13mm adapter into the 25mm bracket, you can use a 13x100mm test tube. The test tube can be made of glass or transparent quartz.
● 10 x 10mm adapter. For small sample testing, the 10 x 10mm adapter is suitable for 10 x 10mm square test tubes, 100 μ L small test tubes, and 9 μ L capillary tubes.
Data processing options
● Built in data collection package. 64800 data can be stored in the instrument's memory, while avoiding the hassle and expense of carrying, operating, and maintaining additional data acquisition devices. Downloading and converting data from the fluorescence analyzer to ASCII format is also very simple, and ASCII data can also be input as standard spreadsheet files. By using the fluorescence analyzer keyboard, you can select the interval for data collection. After being equipped with temperature compensation function, temperature data can be recorded.
● Spreadsheet record package. No need to download, the built-in collected data can be displayed graphically, with 240 data views at a time. Users can understand the data status on site without using a computer. The built-in data collection function must be installed.
● Temperature compensation package. When the sample temperature increases, the fluorescence value will decrease, so ignoring the temperature change will lead to data errors. The temperature compensation package includes a temperature probe installed in the flow chamber and sample temperature compensation software. Input the appropriate temperature coefficient into the fluorescence meter through the keyboard without the need for manual correction.
Hardware
● Instrument chassis. Waterproof chassis is used in harsh outdoor environments and provides sealing performance through factory installation. The indoor chassis provides protection for the interior of the instrument.
● Optical kit. The optical kit consisting of corresponding filters and light sources can be used for the following applications: in vivo and extraction of chlorophyll, extraction of chlorophyll a (acidification or non acidification method), CDOM, Amine, phycocyanin, phycocyanin, rhodamine WT dye, fluorescein dye, petroleum refining and crude oil. Separate filters and light sources can be purchased as replacements or for additional applications by users.
● Instrument transport box. To protect the fluorescence analyzer and its accessories during transportation and carrying, it is recommended to purchase.
