The ATS600 ultrasonic hardness tester is a new type of portable hardness testing instrument that uses ultrasonic contact impedance method to compare and measure samples. It has the advantages of high accuracy, fast speed, easy portability, simple operation, and non-destructive measurement. The ATS600 ultrasonic hardness tester measures hardness by applying a fixed pressure to a calibrated vibrating rod equipped with a specific indenter (such as Vickers diamond). Ultrasonic hardness testers are usually calibrated at the factory to be suitable for non alloy steel and low-alloy steel. For materials with different Young's moduli, on-site calibration of the instrument is required.
