Basket filters are used on oil or other liquid pipelines to filter impurities in the pipeline. The filtering hole area is greater than 2-3 times the diameter pipe area, far exceeding the filtering area of Y-shaped and T-shaped filters. The filter accuracy belongs to a type of filter with good accuracy, and the filter structure is different from other filters. Due to its basket like shape, it is called a blue filter.

The basket filter is mainly composed of a connecting pipe, a cylinder, a filter basket, flanges, flange covers, and fasteners. Installed on pipelines, it can remove large solid impurities from fluids, enabling machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments to work and operate normally, achieving a stable process and ensuring safety.

Working principle of basket cleaner:

Other debris may be brought into the pipeline during installation, and there are also impurities in the raw materials. When the liquid in the pipeline passes through the filter, its dirt is collected by the filter into the filter screen. After a certain degree, the shell cover can be opened to clean the filter screen.

General principles for filter selection:

1. Import and export diameter:

In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and generally consistent with the diameter of the inlet pipeline.

2. Nominal pressure:

Determine the pressure level of the filter based on the possible high pressure in the filtering pipeline.

3. Selection of pore size:

The main consideration is the particle size of impurities that need to be intercepted, depending on the process requirements of the medium flow. The particle size that can be intercepted by various specifications of wire mesh can be found in the table "Filter Screen Specifications".

d、 Materials with hygiene requirements in light industry food and pharmaceuticals, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, grain slurry, medical supplies, etc.
