The German Krautkramer CL5 precision thickness gauge has the advantages of comprehensive functionality, easy use, compact size, and sturdy structure. The three soft keys located directly below the display screen activate various functions on the displayed menu. The CL5 ultrasonic thickness gauge uses four directional keys to easily and efficiently switch menus and browse text input screens. The graphic display provides users with six different operating modes. Users can choose between regular, low value scan, high value scan, difference/thinning rate, thickness+A scan (optional), or sound velocity test (optional). CL 5 uses a programmable data logger, which makes it easy to set up data files on a computer. The SD card storage system stores all data records and settings information on a removable SD storage card. After directly inserting the thickness gauge into the computer, the file format allows for drag and drop operations. Other data, such as digital photos, can also be stored on the same SD card.
