Technical description
The compact integrated set CR3000 includes a measurement and control electronic unit, communication port, 16 key keyboard, LCD display, power supply, and handle, making it very portable. The integrated LCD display features 128x64 pixel graphic or 8-line character numerical display.
CR3000 has three base options: alkaline battery base, rechargeable battery base, and no battery base. The power consumption of CR3000 is very low. By charging its battery with a solar panel, CR3000 can operate continuously without the need for AC power. To reduce the possibility of inaccurate measurements, CR3000 will pause operation when the main power supply is below 9.6 V.
The internal operating system includes the measurement, processing, and output instructions required for programming the data collector. The programming language is CRBasic, using BASIC like syntax. Measurement instructions include: bridge setting, voltage output, thermocouple, pulse/frequency signal. The processing instructions include algebraic operations, statistics, and transcendental functions used for on-site processing. Output instructions to process data according to time periods or control external devices.
Other compatibility information
sensor
The CR3000 includes several types of channels that can support almost every available sensor, including thermocouples, SDI-12 sensors, and 4 to 20 mA sensors. The customized ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) chip extends the pulse counting, control port, and serial communication capabilities of CR3000. The I/O ports (control ports) of CR3000 can be paired for receiving and sending, allowing communication with serial sensors and devices.
Measurement and control peripherals
CR3000 is compatible with all of our current CDMs (requiring an SC-CPI interface module), SDMs, Expansion board, vibrating wire interface module, terminal input module, and relay, etc.
communication
The communication between CR3000 and PC can be carried out through various methods, including direct communication, Ethernet interfaces (NL100, NL115, NL120), multi substation bus modems, direct pull modems, telephone modems (landline, digital mobile network, and voice synthesis phones), radio frequency communication, and satellite transmitters (Argos, high data rate GOES, and Meteosat).
Viewing data can be done through integrated keyboard displays, iOS or Android devices (requiring LoggerLink software), CD295 WebView II displays, Archer PCon on-site PCs, or user provided PDAs (requiring PConnect or PConnectCE software).
Compatible external data storage devices include CFM100, NL115, and SC115.
chassis
CR3000 can be placed in ENC12/14, ENC14/16, ENC16/18, ENC24/30, or ENC24/30S protective enclosures.
power supply
CR3000 is generally powered by its own alkaline battery or rechargeable battery (see ordering column). When using a rechargeable battery, its internal 7 A h sealed rechargeable battery needs to be charged through a car battery (requiring DCDC18R), solar panel, or AC charging source.
The CR3000 can also be paired with a base without a battery, in which case the user needs to provide a DC power supply. When the power consumption of the system requires a larger capacity battery, or when the advantages of smaller space and lighter weight are required for the data collector, it is preferred to use a base without a battery.
software
CRBasic is a complete programming language for CR3000, which supports simple or complex programming instructions, as well as various built-in data pruning methods. The software compatible with CR3000 includes:
Short Cut software
