The CR6 measurement and control data collector can be a powerful core component of your data acquisition system. CR6 combines the advantages of all our data collectors, adding faster communication, low power requirements, built-in USB interface, simple size, and improved analog input accuracy and resolution. CR6 has also introduced our new U-shaped universal function terminal, which can be connected to almost any sensor through a unique design - analog, digital, or intelligent sensors can be connected to the U-terminal. CR6 is also our first multi-purpose data collector that can directly implement static vibration measurement.

Technical description
The CR6 data collector meets the working environment of -40 ℃ to+70 ℃ and extended temperature of -55 ℃ to+85 ℃ (without condensation). It is recommended to calibrate it every three years. Please confirm the system configuration and specifications with Campbell Scientific before purchasing.

CR6-WIFI
CR6-WIFI is an ideal solution for short-range wireless communication.
By using Wi Fi devices and the free LoggerLink mobile app, you can establish a communication connection with CR6-WIFI. CR6-WIFI factory configured Wi Fi access point. In addition, CR6-WIFI can also join existing wireless networks.
CR6-RF407
CR6-RF407 is a medium range license free wireless communication scheme.
900 MHz, 250 mW frequency hopping radio, can be integrated into other high-speed network topologies using RF407 data collectors.
CR6-RF412
CR6-RF412 is a medium range, license free wireless communication scheme.
The design is mainly aimed at Australia and New Zealand, with 922 GHz, 250 mW frequency hopping radio stations that can be integrated into other high-speed network topologies using RF412 data collectors.
CR6-RF422
CR6-RF422 is a license free radio communication scheme for short to medium range communication.
Applied in Europe, 868 MHz, 25 mW radio (including pre conversation monitoring and adaptive frequency hopping function). Other wireless networks with high-speed network topologies using RF422 data collectors can be added.
CR6-RF451
CR6-RF451 is a remote license free wireless communication solution. .
900 MHz, 1 W, Frequency hopping spread spectrum radio, CR6-RF451 can be applied to "star" topology networks and can also be networked with other devices using RF450/RF451. CR6-RF451 can be configured as the main device, repeater, or remote device, and can communicate over distances of several miles in harsh electromagnetic environments.

The CR6 has 12 universal U terminals and 4 C terminals, with programmable functionality. It can measure voltage, resistance bridge, static oscillator, pulse, switch, SDI-12, and most sensors such as RS-232/RS-485.
Measurement and peripheral expansion equipment
The interface of CR6 can directly connect to our CDM equipment (without SC-CPI). CR6 is compatible with all of our current SDM devices, multiplexers, terminal input devices, and relays.

The CR6 has an on-board 10/100baseT port for Ethernet communication, a USB port for communication with a PC, and a slot to store data on a microSD card. Compatible telemetry devices include our multidrop modems, short-haul modems, phone modems (land line, digital cellular, and voice-synthesized), RF telemetry, and satellite transmitters (Argos, High Data Rate GOES, and Meteosat). Data can be viewed on the CR1000KD Keyboard Display, CD100 Mountable Display with Keyboard, or an iOS or Android device (requires LoggerLink).

power supply
The CR6 uses an external power source and has a built-in charger/regulator. Intelligent power sourcing autoselects the highest voltage from three input sources (Chg, Bat, or USB) to operate in one of the following four modes:
UPS (recommended) - A 16 to 32 Vdc source, solar panel or power converter, is used to charge a 12 Vdc battery, such as our BP7, BP12 or BP24.
12 Vdc battery or other reliable 12 Vdc source
Chg only - DC power supply (16 to 32 Vdc)
USB - powered over 5 Vdc USB port for setup, programming, and testing (will not charge battery or boost USB power to provide 12 Vdc to SW12 or 12V Power Output terminals)
