The B4MM rain gauge is an ideal high-intensity rainfall observation sensor that can maintain good accuracy in high-intensity rainfall and is compatible with Campbell's full line data collectors. TB4MM is a tipping bucket principle. When the rainwater is filled with 0.2mm, the tipping bucket is tilted and touches the spring switch. This switch value is recorded by the data collector. After measurement is completed, the rainwater is discharged through two small holes at the bottom, which can also be connected to a 12mm pipe to collect the precipitation into other instruments.

The TB4MM is equipped with a siphon device, allowing water flow to reach the tipping platform at a constant rate regardless of the intensity of precipitation, thereby reducing errors and enabling accurate measurement.
