The new monitoring standards and increasing consumer attention to water quality issues caused by algal blooms have made it urgent to develop a sustained, simple, and accurate method for monitoring the concentration of blue-green algae in water. Cyanowatch ™ The advantages of high speed and low cost in measuring live chlorophyll meet this demand.
Using Cyanowatch ™, You can track changes in blue-green algae at any time, providing early warning of algae outbreaks, so that you can be more efficient in detecting potential toxic algae species.
Freshwater and seawater options: Cyanowatch ™ Continuously monitor the concentration of phycocyanin or phycoerythrin (two unique accessory pigments of blue-green algae). Cyanowatch ™ The phycocyanin version is used for freshwater applications, while the phycoerythrin version is used for seawater.
Online monitoring: Existing monitoring methods, such as cell counting and identification, cannot be frequently used and are very outdated in providing necessary data for taking protective measures.
