Solid phase content analyzer is an instrument used to separate and determine the volume of water, oil, and solid phase in drilling fluid samples. It is the basis for understanding the solid phase concentration and composition, viscosity, and filtration control of water-based drilling fluids.The ZNG-A solid-phase content analyzer can easily distinguish the water, oil, and solid-phase components in water-based drilling fluids through simple heating and distillation, and calculate the volume of each component by comparison. Therefore, the instrument provides a simple, convenient, accurate, and directly readable method for determining the composition ratio of water-based drilling fluid.

Operating principle:

Heat a known volume of water-based drilling fluid sample in a still, evaporate and condense its liquid phase components, and collect them in a graduated cylinder. The liquid volume is directly determined from the readings of the oil and water phases in the graduated cylinder. The total solid phase volume (suspended and dissolved) is obtained from the difference (total sample volume - liquid phase volume). Due to the fact that any dissolved solids will remain in the still, calculations are necessary to determine the volume of suspended solids, and the relative volume of low density solids and weighting materials can also be calculated.

The ZNG-A drilling fluid solid content analyzer can be used with a voltage of 110/220V, a power of 100W, and a distiller volume of 20ml.
