Drum brake/clutch

Drum brakes, also known as block brakes, rely on brake pads pressing against the brake wheels to achieve braking. The rotating component of the drum brake is the brake drum, and the fixed component is the brake shoe. During braking, the brake shoe rotates outward under the action of the actuating device, and the friction plate on the outer surface presses against the inner cylindrical surface of the brake drum, generating braking friction torque on the drum.
