Product Details

The end face type thermistor element is made of specially treated wire (copper or platinum wire) wound around the front end of the thermometer, which is tightly wrapped around the thermometer. Compared with general axial thermistors,End face thermistorIt can more accurately and quickly reflect the actual temperature condition of the measured end face. There are many production methods and diverse varieties, suitable for temperature measurement on the surface of power plant steam turbines, motor bearings or other machine bodies.

Some thermal resistors require synchronous rotation of their leads and resistance elements during installation to ensure that they are not damaged by human error. However, this situation is inevitable during the actual installation process. Due to the occurrence of this situation, Ruike Company has increased its research efforts and successfully developed a special thermistor. This thermistor only requires tightening the screws on the outer end during installation, without the need for the lead wire to rotate synchronously with the thermistor.

Precautions for using end face thermistor

(1) The temperature measurement system generally consists of a thermistor, connecting wires, and display instruments. The following two points must be noted:

① The scale marks of the thermistor and display instrument must be consistent

② In order to eliminate the influence of changes in the resistance of the connecting wires, a three wire connection method must be adopted. Please refer to Chapter 3 of this article for specific content.

(2) A solid body composed of temperature sensing elements (resistors), leads, insulation materials, and stainless steel sleeves, with an outer diameter generally ranging from 1 to 8mm and a minimum of up to 8mm. Compared with ordinary thermal resistors,End face thermistorThere are the following advantages:

① Small size, no air gap inside, low measurement lag in terms of thermal inertia;

② Good mechanical performance, vibration resistance, and impact resistance;

③ Can bend, easy to install

④ Long service life.

(3) The temperature sensing element is wound with specially treated resistance wire and tightly attached to the end face of the thermometer. Compared with general axial resistance thermometers, it can more accurately and quickly reflect the actual temperature of the measured end face, and is suitable for measuring the end face temperature of bearing shells and other components.

(4) The explosion-proof type thermal electric barrier type thermal resistor uses a special structure junction box to remove the explosive mixed gas inside its shell. If the resistor is damaged by sparks or arcs, the length of the resistance wire must be changed, which will affect the resistance value. Therefore, it is better to replace the resistor with a new one. If welding repair is used, it must be verified to be qualified after welding before use.
