Flexible force sensor

The FSR 400 short tail model is a single zone piezoresistive sensor specifically designed for human touch control in electronic devices such as automotive electronics, medical systems, and industrial and robotic applications. FSR is a dual line sensor. They are robust polymer thick film (PTF) sensors that exhibit a decrease in resistance as the force applied to the sensor surface increases. The effective area diameter of the device is 5.6 mm, and there are 4 connection methods to choose from. The Interlink Electronics FSR 400 series is part of the single zone force sensing resistor series.
