The function and design requirements of marble guide rails
When the moving part moves in a straight line along the guide, the guide rail on the guide plays a supporting and guiding role, that is, supporting the moving part and ensuring that it moves in a straight line in a given direction under the action of external forces (load and weight of the moving part itself).
The requirements for the guide rail are as follows:
1. A certain level of guidance accuracy. Guidance accuracy refers to the straightness of the movement of the moving part along the guide rail, as well as the accuracy of its mutual position with the relevant base surface.
2. Lightweight and smooth exercise. When working, it should be lightweight and labor-saving, with uniform speed and no crawling phenomenon at low speeds.
3. Good wear resistance. The wear resistance of a guide rail refers to its ability to maintain a certain level of precision after long-term use. The guide rail needs to wear out during use, but the amount of wear should be small, and it should be able to automatically compensate or be easy to adjust after wear.
4. Sufficient rigidity. The external force acting on the moving parts is borne by the guide rail surface, so the guide rail should have sufficient contact stiffness. Therefore, it is commonly used to increase the width of the guide rail surface to reduce the specific pressure on the guide rail surface; Set up auxiliary guide rails to withstand external loads.
5. Temperature changes have little impact. It should be ensured that the guide rail can still work normally under the condition of temperature changes during operation.
6. Good structural processability. On the premise of ensuring other requirements of the guide rail, the guide rail structure should be made simple, easy to process, measure, assemble and adjust, and reduce costs.
