Selection Guidelines for Softening Equipment
◇ 1. Controller: Fully adopts the American Fulike controller.
◇ 2. Resin tank: Available options: domestic fiberglass tank, metal lined plastic tank (PE lined), imported (Stroo) RFP tank.
◇ 3. Equipment operation control form:
L-flow type: automatically restores when the water preparation reaches the set value, suitable for all soft water preparation in water supply systems.
S-time type: using time as the control for regeneration metering, suitable for stable water supply systems, with a regeneration cycle of 24 hours.
◇ 4. Equipment combinations available for selection:
⑴ - Single control single bed: Stop water supply for 2 hours during the restoration period or continue to supply raw water (hard water bypass).
⑵ - Single control twin bed: alternate water supply, one for use and one for backup.
⑶ - Dual control twin beds: alternate water supply, one in use and one as backup.
⑷ - Dual control dual bed: simultaneous water supply, alternating regeneration.
⑸ - Multiple control beds: Three or more resin tanks are used in parallel, suitable for large-scale water supply systems.

Product features:
1. The self-control system is not limited by pipe diameter, and the diameter of diaphragm valves is relatively large, making them very suitable for large-scale softened water equipment. Usually between 30-60 tons per hour.
2. You can choose between flow based or timed.
3. You can choose between single tank or double tank (one for use and one for backup).
4. You can choose between downstream or upstream regeneration methods.
5. Due to the fact that diaphragm valves are mostly operated in an open closed manner, they are not easily clogged. Therefore, compared to other methods (such as plug type), sodium ion exchangers have stronger resistance to impurities in water.
6. Easy to maintain and durable.
The promotion and application of automatic multi way valves in China has led to a widespread shift in the operation control mode of softened water equipment from manual multi way valve control to automatic multi way valve control. However, due to the high integration, small diameter, and complex structure of the multi way valve itself, this control method has certain limitations when applied to systems with large flow rates and complex operating conditions. In this case, the multi way valve system will exhibit disadvantages such as complexity, difficult disassembly and maintenance, difficulty in discovering problems, and the fact that a malfunction in one component will affect the operation of the entire system, resulting in increased costs and accidents.
