The XF100 piezoelectric rain gauge is a monitoring device developed for the hydrological and water conservancy industries. It measures rainfall using a maintenance free, non moving piezoelectric principle and can achieve 24-hour continuous online monitoring of outdoor rainfall parameters.

Piezoelectric principle for measuring rainfall: The size of raindrops is measured by the impact force on their outer surface, and rainfall is calculated. Compared with traditional non physical tipping bucket rain gauges, accuracy is its weakness. In most cases, the measurement values of piezoelectric rain gauges will be close to those of tipping bucket rain gauges, but there may be significant deviations in special cases (short-term heavy rainfall). The arc-shaped roof design does not retain rainwater and can work 24/7 without maintenance. Small size, no moving parts, easy installation. More suitable for situations that require movement and cannot be maintained. |
