The turbine placed inside the sensor rotates under the action of fluid, causing a change in the magnetic field of the signal detector. Therefore, an alternating voltage is induced in the coil of the signal detector, which is amplified, filtered, and shaped by an amplifier to output a square wave signal. The frequency of this signal voltage is proportional to the speed of the turbine, that is, proportional to the flow rate of the fluid.
