1、 Instrument Overview:
The jacketed quartz tube level gauge is developed using new technologies both domestically and internationally. It utilizes the principle of natural light refraction and reflection in liquids, with the help of red and green plates, to make the liquid phase display green and the gas phase display red during measurement. Due to the large contrast and clear indication of liquid and gas phase display, it is more advantageous for remote operation and night viewing.
2、 Measurement principle:
The quartz tube level gauge mainly consists of a special shaped quartz glass tube, a color filtered green glass sheet, a body, upper and lower valves, and a drain valve. The liquid level gauge and the flange on the container form a connector, which uses the optical principle of natural light refraction and reflection in the liquid to make the liquid phase appear green and the gas phase appear red with the help of color filter red green glass sheets. The red and green displays are clear and can be observed from a distance and at night.
The working principle is based on the differences in optical properties and density of different liquids. By using the optical principle of color level gauge refraction, a three color display interface is achieved, and a colored float floats between the interfaces of the two liquid levels, making the two interfaces distinct.
3、 Applicable occasions:
The jacketed quartz tube level gauge is developed using advanced technology both domestically and internationally. It is an upgraded product of ordinary glass plate level gauges and is widely used in various transparent liquid containers and boilers in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, etc. It is suitable for measuring the level of oil products and chemical raw materials such as water, gasoline, liquefied gas, liquid ammonia, propane, propane, propylene, aromatic hydrocarbons, acids, etc. It is also applicable for interface measurement of two different medium densities.
