Pre test inspection method

1. Before use, check whether the pointer of the LX-D-2 plastic Shore hardness tester points to zero in its free state (if the pointer deviates slightly from zero, you can loosen the upper right corner compression screw, rotate the dial to align with zero, and then tighten the compression screw); If the peak pointer deviates from zero, the peak pointer return knob should be turned first to place the peak pointer close to the right side of the tracking pointer.

2. When the LX-D-2 plastic Shore hardness tester is pressed onto a reference plane to check the zero position, the hard indenter is easily pressed into the reference plane under high load, making it difficult to accurately read. Therefore, a standard measuring block must be placed on the reference plane. When operating, hold the LX-D-2 plastic Shore hardness tester in hand, align the pressure needle with the center hole of Lingkuai, and press down the plastic Shore hardness tester. When the LX-D-2 hardness tester is pressed against the dedicated measuring block and reference surface, the hardness tester should display 10 ± 0.5HD (the thickness of the measuring block is 2.25 ± 0.003mm, which is equal to the depth of the hardness tester when pressed into 10HD). If it cannot be accurately displayed, the hardness tester cannot be used.
