Micro controllers are generally made into three-dimensional adjustable structures, divided into coarse and fine grades, and have good mechanical robustness. Among them, electromechanical micro controllers belong to the precision type and have better performance. Hydraulic systems are prone to drift errors due to temperature, while mechanical micro controllers have good mechanical stability, but their adjustment is not as precise as electromechanical systems.
In biological experiments, electrodes are usually inserted into cells with great precision, and the amplitude of movement is usually measured in millimeters per step, which is very fine. The main function of a micromanipulator is to operate and control the movement of such small distances. Its basic principle is to use micro, high-precision motors to control and operate, and to insert electrodes into cells very accurately. This instrument is widely used in experiments that require micro distance manipulation in biology, chemistry, and other fields. The MP-225 electric microscope manipulator is a simplified version of Sutter's famous MP-285 electric microscope manipulator, which basically retains the main functions of MP285, but removes some infrequently used functions in patch clamp experiments. It is a moderately priced instrument that can fully meet the needs of patch clamp operation.
