Overview
The manual sampling drill set is a comprehensive set of sampling tools that can be used to collect soft soil, hard soil, mud or undisturbed soil, non undisturbed soil, etc. The function of the probe is to detect whether there are hard stones, concrete, or electrical and communication cables in the soil. Its excellent conductivity enables it to clearly transmit the tactile sensation to the hand when encountering foreign objects. Riverside drill is particularly suitable for hard soil mixed with fine gravel layers above or below the groundwater level. The end of the drill bit is very sharp, forming a downward angle, and the soil drill can easily penetrate the soil.

Multi stone soil drill is used for soils containing a large amount of gravel. Its drill body is composed of two forged and bent thick steel bars. If Riverside drill cannot produce ideal working results in coarse gravel soil, this soil drill can come in handy.
The semi-circular drill in this set can be used to extract cylindrical samples from relatively soft and cohesive soils (such as wet clay and peat soil) to the maximum extent possible while preserving their original shape.
The design and use of piston samplers are vastly different from the various drill types mentioned above. It is very suitable for sampling in soil layers with low adhesiveness below the groundwater level, as well as for sampling sediments with sandy components.
Due to the fact that different drills are applicable above or below the groundwater level, we provide measurement bands for determining the current groundwater level.
Technical parameters:
Equipment weight: 26kg
Sampling depth: 5 meters
Drill diameter: 7cm
● Connection method: card pin connection
Sampling type: undisturbed soil and non undisturbed soil
● Configuration: Four different types of Edelman drill bits (clay, sand, coarse sand, and composite), one Riverside drill, one sand and gravel drill, one spiral drill, one piston sampler, and one semi-circular chisel drill.
The attachments include: extension rod, practical fiberglass multi-purpose probe, simple depth measurement device, push-pull handle, maintenance tool, on-site data record book, and aluminum transport box.
Main features:
Manual sampling drills are highly suitable for soil research. Based on different soil types, different drill types are used. Years of experience have enabled Eijkelkamp, a Dutch company, to develop multiple models of manual sampling drills and achieve optimal design for each model.
By using extension rods with locking pins or threaded connections, the sampling drill can achieve a deeper sampling depth, which can reach 8 to 10 meters in actual operation. The sampling depth depends on various factors, such as groundwater depth, soil profile, and soil characteristics that the drill bit needs to penetrate.
