Micro metal tube float flowmeter is a commonly used variable area flow meter in industrial automation process control. It has the characteristics of small volume, large measurement range, and easy use. It can measure almost all liquid and gas flow rates, and is particularly suitable for measuring low flow rate, small flow rate, high temperature and high pressure media.

The micro metal tube float flowmeter mainly consists of two parts: sensor and indicator. Sensors mainly consist of flanges, measuring tubes, conical tubes or orifice plates, floats, and upper and lower guides; The indicator mainly consists of a magnetic coupling system, an electric remote transmission system, an indicator disk, a pointer, and a housing.

Introduction to the principle of micro metal tube float flowmeter:
When the fluid flows through the measuring tube from bottom to top, the float will gradually rise due to buoyancy and fluid thrust. When the gravity, buoyancy, and fluid thrust of the float are balanced, the float will hover at a certain position in the measuring tube. As the flow rate of the fluid increases, the thrust also increases, and the displacement of the float will also increase. After the displacement of the float increases, the annular gap between the orifice plate or cone tube will also increase, which will allow for a larger flow rate. Therefore, the metal tube float flowmeter is a variable area flow meter.
The float is embedded with a magnetic steel, and the indicator has a magnetic coupling system that forms a magnetic relationship with it. When the float moves up and down in the measuring tube, the magnetic coupling system in the indicator will drive the pointer to move. Using magnetic sensors to detect displacement and convert it into electrical signals, the instantaneous and cumulative flow rates are displayed after processing by the circuit board, and the pointer indicates the instantaneous flow rate on the indicator panel.
