Measurement principle:

Conductivity represents the ability of a solution to conduct electrical current. The conductivity of pure water is very low, and it increases when the water contains inorganic acid-base salts or organic charged colloids. The conductivity of an aqueous solution depends on the properties and concentration of the charged substance, as well as the temperature and viscosity of the solution.
