Overview
SpentSolid phase extraction (SPE) is equivalent to the separation process and mechanism of a disposable liquid chromatography column. There are many similarities in the selection of stationary phase, solvent, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), but the bed is short and the particle size of the stationary phase is relatively large (about 40 microns), which is much lower in efficiency than the high-performance liquid chromatography column, only 10-50 plates, suitable for separating different compounds retained
Product Details

SpentSolid phase extraction (SPE) is equivalent to the separation process and mechanism of a disposable liquid chromatography column. There are many similarities in the selection of stationary phase, solvent, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), but the bed is short and the particle size of the stationary phase is large (about 40 microns), which is much lower in efficiency than a high-performance liquid chromatography column, only 10-50 plates, suitable for the separation of different compounds retained. Compared with traditional liquid-liquid extraction, using SPE fixed stage and high-efficiency, selective, simple and practical equipment can significantly reduce the amount of solvent used, reduce the requirement for solvent purity, improve separation efficiency, shorten separation time, and reduce separation costs. SPE samples can be directly processed through gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis.
