The rapid thermocouple used for casting and melting is a disposable consumable thermocouple used to measure the temperature of molten steel and high-temperature molten metal. Its working principle is based on the thermoelectric effect of metals, using the temperature difference generated at both ends of the thermocouple to measure the temperature of molten steel and high melting metal. The platinum rhodium rapid thermocouple is mainly composed of a temperature measuring thermocouple head and a large paper tube. The coupling head mainly consists of positive and negative coupling wires welded onto the compensating wire, which is embedded in the bracket and covered with a small paper tube. The coupling wires are supported and protected by quartz.

1Select the appropriate length of the protective paper tube and suitable temperature measuring rod based on the measured object and range.
2Install the fast thermocouple on the temperature measuring rod and reset the secondary instrument pointer (or digital display) to zero. This indicates good contact and can be used for measurement.
3It is advisable to insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a depth of 60-200mm. When measuring, do not touch the furnace wall or slag. Ensure speed, stability, and accuracy. When the secondary instrument obtains the result, immediately lift the rod. The immersion time of the fast thermocouple in the molten steel should not exceed 5 seconds, otherwise it may burn out the temperature measuring rod.
4After removing the temperature measuring rod from the furnace, remove the used thermocouple and install a new one. Pause for a few minutes to prepare for the next measurement. It is not allowed to measure or disassemble continuously, otherwise it may cause temperature fluctuations.
5During transportation and storage, products should be handled with care during loading and unloading. During transportation, they should not be affected by moisture. The products should be stored in a dry warehouse with a relative temperature not exceeding 80%, air circulation, and no harmful gases that may cause corrosion. The entire box should be placed in a dry warehouse.
