Softening water equipment and reverse osmosis device

Softening water equipment, as the name suggests, is a device that reduces the hardness of water. It mainly removes calcium and magnesium ions from water. When the inlet water is deep well water or the water source has a high hardness, the purpose of using softening water equipment is to remove the calcium and magnesium ion content in the water and reduce the calcium and magnesium ions in the water. Softening water equipment cannot reduce the total salt content in water during the process of softening water. It is widely used in hot water boiler systems, heat exchange systems, industrial cooling systems, central air conditioning systems, and other water equipment systems.

The main working principle of softened water equipment and reverse osmosis devices is to use cation and anion softening to pass raw water through a cation and anion converter, removing calcium, magnesium, and sodium ions from the water. The water that comes out is just water molecules. Without other molecules, it can effectively prevent scale buildup. When the inlet water is deep well water or the water source hardness is high, the function of using a softening water equipment is to remove the calcium and magnesium ion content in the water, reducing the calcium and magnesium ions in the water. If there is no water softener or if the water softener fails, calcium and magnesium salts will form insoluble precipitates on the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane due to a sharp increase in concentration, blocking the pores of the reverse osmosis membrane, shortening its service life, and increasing equipment maintenance costs.
