Product Introduction:

The AQ6374 spectral analyzer covers a wide range of wavelengths from 350 to 1750nm, including visible light (380 to 780nm) and communication fields. The ultra wide measurable power range is -80~+20dBm, with 100001 sampling points and 8 wavelength resolution settings for fast measurement.

After more than 30 years of user feedback, the front panel is more intuitive and easy to operate. The mouse function makes navigation more convenient, and the keyboard can be used to input numbers and file names.

Characteristics of Fiber Bragg Grating

Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is a short section of optical fiber with distributed Bragg mirrors, which can reflect specific wavelengths of incident light and propagate only the remaining wavelengths of light. This is achieved by periodically changing the refractive index of the fiber core, which forms a dielectric mirror of a specific wavelength in the fiber core. Therefore, fiber Bragg grating can be used as an embedded optical filter to block specific wavelengths of light, or as a wavelength reflector. The application of fiber Bragg grating is mainly in optical communication systems: it can be used specifically as a notch filter, and can also be used together with optical circulators or optical add/drop multiplexers (OADMs) for optical multiplexers and demultiplexing. In addition, fiber Bragg gratings in the 2-3 μ m wavelength range can also be used as direct sensing elements for strain and temperature sensing in seismic instruments, as well as pressure sensing in harsh environments.
