Stainless steel Beile tube groundwater sampler

Very suitable for obtaining high-quality representative groundwater samples from specific depths. It can collect water that has just flowed into the well at the required sampling points. This can avoid cleaning and handling cleaning water.

The 429 stainless steel Beile tube groundwater sampler can be used for profile open drilling or filter wells to collect samples from different water levels or inflow points. The error caused by mixing samples with water at different levels is minimized.

For groundwater sampling, Solinst also produces the 425 type discrete interval groundwater sampler that is pressurized before entering the well. This avoids water from entering the sampler until it reaches the specified depth (see data sheet 425).

The Solinst Beile tube groundwater sampler (bucket sampler) has a double ball valve located at the top and bottom. It is a simple and cost-effective reservoir profiler. It does not require expensive or difficult to transport auxiliary equipment, making it very suitable for sampling in hard to reach places.

The small 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) diameter model is very suitable for use in narrow pipes and direct push equipment.

The sampler is slowly lowered to a specified depth through a support line. When the sampler is lowered, both balls are opened to allow water to flow through the sampler.

When reaching the sampling depth, slowly and steadily pull up the sampler. The weight of the water and the upward movement of the sampler cause both ball valves to close. The top ball valve prevents the sample in the sampler from mixing with water at higher levels in the well. The bottom ball valve prevents the sample from leaking out of the sampler.

Once on the ground, empty the sampler by opening the top opening and allow the water to slowly drain into a sample container through the sample release device.

Then the Beile tube sampler can be cleaned before the next sampling.
