The function of steam storage tank:

Storing a certain amount of saturated or supersaturated steam for effective heat storage capacity;

Buffer steam pipeline pressure fluctuations;

After installing the drainage device, automatic steam water separation can be carried out.

The operating temperature of steam tanks is generally within the range of 100-230 ℃, and the nozzle requirements are customized according to the customer's on-site needs. After the installation of the steam tank is completed, external insulation is required to stabilize the steam temperature inside the tank. The commonly used external insulation materials are glass rock wool, aluminum silicate board, etc. The insulation thickness is generally not less than 80mm. The steam tank is equipped with safety accessories such as safety valves and pressure gauges.

Steam tanks belong to pressure vessels and require manufacturing by units with pressure vessel qualifications; Before installation, use registration and supervision management should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of TSG R0004 new specification. In order to ensure the safe operation of the equipment, steam tanks, safety valves, and pressure gauges need to be regularly calibrated and used within their validity period.
