Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic resin made by polymerizing ethylene. In industry, it also includes copolymers of ethylene with small amounts of alpha olefins. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, and feels like wax. It has excellent low-temperature resistance (with a minimum operating temperature of -100~-70 ° C), good chemical stability, and can withstand most acid and alkali corrosion (not resistant to acids with oxidative properties). Insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, with low water absorption and excellent electrical insulation.
The steel lined PE storage tank adopts a special rolling molding process, which welds the steel mesh (turtle shell) to the inner surface of the steel tank, and uses pure PE (polyethylene) as raw material to organically combine the steel plate, steel mesh (turtle shell), and polyethylene into one using the rolling molding process. Polyethylene is firmly connected to the surface of the steel body. The plastic layer of storage tank has the characteristics of no welding joint, no leakage, anti-aging, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life, compliance with health standards, etc.
