Product Details

Overview of 50kN hand pulled wedge-shaped stretching fixture:

The 50kN hand pulled wedge-shaped stretching fixture is a commonly used stretching fixture in electronic testing machines, with a sample thickness of 7mm and a sample diameter of Φ 20mm. The wedge-shaped design can increase the clamping force with the increase of force on the test sample, effectively avoiding slipping phenomenon. It is usually used to clamp metal, non-metal plates, rods, pipes and other specimens. It is easy to use, reliable to clamp, and can be selected and replaced according to actual needs.

50kN hand cranked wedge-shaped stretching fixture jaw selection:

Flat jaw: 0-7mm (sample thickness 7mm)

Round jaw: Φ 4- Φ 9 (small sample diameter 4mm, sample diameter 9mm) Φ 9- Φ 14 (small sample diameter 9mm, sample diameter 14mm) Φ 14- Φ 20 (small sample diameter 9mm, sample diameter 14mm)

50kN hand pulled wedge-shaped stretching fixture operation steps:

1. Install the upper and lower wedge-shaped stretching fixtures onto the upper and lower joints of the testing machine, insert the pins, and tighten the locking nuts.

2. First, pull the handle of the wedge-shaped stretching fixture upwards to open the jaws.

3. Place a section of the specimen between the jaws of the upper wedge-shaped stretching fixture, and position the specimen in the center of the jaws. Release the upper handle and clamp the upper end of the specimen tightly.

4. Zero the force and adjust the height of the moving crossbeam to the appropriate position.

5. Pull down the handle of the wedge-shaped stretching fixture below to open the jaws. Use the same method to place the lower end of the sample into the stretching fixture below and clamp it tightly. Note: Compared with the hand rotating wedge-shaped stretching fixture, it is simpler and more convenient for the test operator to grip the specimen.
