Thin film platinum resistors are made by sputtering platinum metal onto ceramic substrates using vacuum deposition technology, with a film thickness controlled within 2 μ m. Ni or Pd material leads are fixed with glass sintered material, and laser resistance is used to make thin film components. This component is the core device for producing platinum resistance temperature sensors! It is the most accurate, linear, and stable component in temperature sensors. It has many advantages, such as a wide temperature measurement range and strong anti vibration ability. It is an indispensable temperature measuring component in industrial production equipment and production processes.
Thin film platinum resistors are classified into different types based on their output resistance at 0 ℃, such as PT20, PT50, PT100, PT200, PT500, PT1000, etc. Among them, PT100 and PT1000 are the most commonly used. PT100 refers to the output resistance of the resistor being 100 Ω at 0 ℃, and so on for other models, with the same linearity.
Thin film platinum resistors are divided into low-temperature platinum resistors, medium temperature platinum resistors, and high-temperature platinum resistors according to different measurement temperature ranges.
Thin film platinum resistors vary in size according to different customer requirements. The conventional size is around 2MM * 2MM, but our company also has ultra small ones with a minimum size of 0.8MM * 2MM.
