Overview
The field fluorescence tracer can be used for continuous automatic monitoring of field tracer experiments, and can detect tracers such as sodium fluorescein, rhodamine, fluorescent whitening agents, etc. There are three convenient tracer options to choose from. The water flows through the optical aperture of a fluorescent tracer (a glass cylinder), and the optical system consists of four different light sources and three light detectors located at two different horizontal positions and four vertical axes. Each axis is equipped with excitation and detection point filters and optical lenses. These lights are turned off and on at once, measuring three independent responses and water turbidity. The voltage of the preamplifier is also recorded in each test cycle.

The fluorescence tracer detector has a similar digital converter that converts the signal of the fluorescence tracer into single-stage 24 bit words (data resolution 1:16000000). The data stream is transmitted to the data logger through a 4-core cable that is 15 meters long or longer. The data logger contains one or two packaged lead batteries and the necessary circuitry for data recording.
