When there is only one reflective surface, it is total reflection. When the second reflective surface is completely parallel, the density of light rays between the reflective surfaces will increase, and the amount of light leaked from the second surface will continue to rise until it reaches the level of light entering the first surface. On the other hand, the light leaked from the first surface cancels out the reflected light from the first surface, resulting in a decrease in the amount of reflected light from the first surface. Therefore, high transmittance at specific wavelengths can be obtained.
