Several precautions to be taken when correctly installing and disassembling the V-belt

Correct installation:

1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and loosen the assembly bolts of the motor. Move the motor to make the belt loose enough, and the V-belt can be removed without prying it open. Do not pry the belt off.

2. Remove the old V-belt and check for any abnormal wear. Excessive wear indicates problems in the design or maintenance of the transmission system.

3. Choose a suitable belt for replacement, but before installation, check if the driving wheel, driven wheel, and tensioning wheel are on the same plane. Generally speaking, when the center distance between two pulleys is less than 1 meter, the allowable deviation is 2-3 millimeters, and when the center distance is greater than 1 meter, the allowable deviation is 3-4 millimeters. If the deviation is too large, it should be adjusted to meet the requirements before installation and tensioning.

4. If the new V-belt is too tight to install, remove one pulley first, put on or remove the V-belt, and then install the pulley properly. Do not forcefully remove it.

5. The V-belt should be kept dry before installation.
