The production of electronic materials (such as capacitors, resistors, etc.) requires high environmental cleanliness, and even tiny dust and particles may affect the performance and quality of the product. The dust particle counter, as the core cleanliness detection instrument, can accurately detect such particles and plays a key role in the production process of the electronic materials industry, becoming a key equipment to ensure product yield and stability.
In the production process of electronic materials, every step from raw material storage, component processing to finished product packaging requires a clean environment. The dust particle counter can monitor the cleanliness changes of each link in real time, helping enterprises to detect pollution sources in a timely manner (such as ventilation system failures, improper personnel operations, etc.), thereby quickly adjusting the production environment, reducing product scrap caused by cleanliness issues, and lowering production costs.
The dust particle counter 3905 adopts laser scattering detection technology, which can accurately count particles with a diameter of 0.3 μ m to 10 μ m, providing reliable support for the cleanliness detection of production workshops. Specifically, it is manifested in the determination of cleanliness levels. Taking the capacitor workshop as an example, this scenario usually requires a cleanliness standard of level 100, which means that the number of particles with a diameter of ≥ 0.5 μ m per cubic foot of air should not exceed 100. The 3905 product accurately counts suspended particles in the air to determine whether the workshop meets this level standard.
1. Raw material storage process
Electronic grade substrates, metal foils, ceramic powders, and other raw materials must be prevented from adsorbing particulate pollutants on their surfaces during storage, otherwise these "inherent defects" will be directly transmitted to subsequent processes.
At this stage, the dust particle counter 3905 is mainly used for static monitoring and regular inspections. Operators will pre-set multiple key sampling points in the warehouse (such as shelf passages, entrances and exits, and under air conditioning vents) to conduct sampling during non operational hours to evaluate the environmental background cleanliness.
By monitoring, it can be ensured that the storage environment is always maintained at the prescribed cleanliness level (such as 10000 or 1000). Once the particle count in a certain area exceeds the standard, the pollution source can be traced in a timely manner (such as shelf dust accumulation, frequent personnel activities, or decreased air filter efficiency), and measures such as cleaning or adjusting ventilation strategies can be taken to ensure the purity of raw materials from the source.
2. Component processing stage
In core precision manufacturing processes such as photolithography, etching, thin film deposition, and electrode printing, even 0.5 μ m particles can cause fatal defects such as line short circuits and film pinholes. This step is of utmost importance for cleanliness monitoring.
At this stage, the dust particle counter 3905 mainly performs dynamic monitoring. The equipment is placed next to key process equipment such as coating machines and surface mount machines for real-time and continuous sampling during the production process. Its ability to count multiple particle size channels (0.3 μ m, 0.5 μ m, etc.) simultaneously can accurately capture the most dangerous particle sizes.
Real time data can immediately reflect fluctuations in the production environment. For example, when pollution is introduced during device startup or personnel operation, the counter will immediately sound an alarm, reminding production personnel to pause operations or conduct inspections. This achieves the capture of "instantaneous pollution" and prevents systematic quality problems in the entire batch of products, which is a direct guarantee for the consistency of capacitor and resistor performance.
3. Finished product packaging process
Electronic components that have been manufactured are most fragile before packaging. If particles in the packaging environment adhere to the electrode surface, it will cause poor contact or early failure during customer use.
At this stage, the testing method combines static verification with dynamic accompaniment. Before starting the packaging line, the dust particle counter first determines the cleanliness level of the empty packaging line and packaging materials (such as tapes and reels) above it. In production, key monitoring is carried out on the packaging station.
Ensure that the finished product is not subjected to secondary contamination before leaving the final clean area. The compliance judgment function (directly determining whether it complies with ISO 14644-1 level) and the ability to print reports in real-time built into the particle counter 3905 provide objective evidence of cleanliness compliance for each batch of products, meeting the requirements of the quality traceability system.
Product Introduction and Application
The dust particle counter 3905 has an efficient and fast 28.3L/min high flow sampling function, which can simultaneously test six particle sizes: 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, and 10.0 μ m; External sensors are used to test environmental temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and differential pressure. The device is equipped with a 6.4-inch true color touch screen, which is easy to operate and has a storage capacity of 10000 sets of data. It also has a built-in printer that can directly output test reports and supports external USB flash drives to expand storage space; Directly determine whether the cleanroom level meets the requirements, complies with JJF1190-2008 standard, and the counting report meets GB/T16292-2010 and ISO14644-1 standards, making it a reliable dust particle detection equipment.
