Insertion type temperature sensor is a device that measures temperature by inserting a temperature sensing element into the measured medium (liquid, gas, solid material, etc.). The core is to use the temperature sensing elementThe law of physical properties changing with temperatureConverting temperature signals into detectable electrical signals, widely used in industrial production, medical, scientific research and other scenarios.
Thermocouple type plug-in temperature sensor
Core BasisSeebeck effectWeld two metal conductors A and B of different materials together at both ends to form a closed circuit, with one end serving as themeasurement end(Insert the probe part of the tested medium), with the other end asReference end(Constant end with known temperature). When there is a temperature difference between the measuring end and the reference end, a stableThermoelectric potentialThe larger the temperature difference, the higher the electromotive force value. By measuring the magnitude of this electromotive force and combining it with the material properties of the two metals, the actual temperature at the measuring end can be calculated in reverse. Common thermocouple materials include K-type (nickel chromium nickel silicon), S-type (platinum rhodium 10 platinum), etc., which are suitable for medium and high temperature scenarios. The insertion depth can be adjusted according to the container size and material thickness of the measured medium.
Thermal resistance type plug-in temperature sensor
based onThe resistance of metal conductors varies with temperatureThe physical characteristics. The temperature sensing element is usually made of high-purity metal wires (such as platinum, copper, nickel) wound and packaged inside an insertable probe. When the probe is inserted into the measured medium, the temperature of the metal wire will change with the temperature of the medium, resulting in a regular change in its resistance value (most metal resistances increase with temperature, i.e. positive temperature coefficient). For example, platinum resistors (Pt100, Pt1000) have resistance values of 100 Ω and 1000 Ω at 0 ℃, respectively. The resistance value changes by a fixed coefficient for every 1 ℃ temperature change. By measuring the real-time resistance value of the temperature sensing resistor through the circuit and substituting it into the preset resistance temperature formula, the corresponding temperature can be calculated. This type of sensor has high accuracy, is suitable for medium and low temperature scenarios, and has strong stability.
