ybzhanCorporate NewsHow to determine the quality of a flow meter?

Every product has a quality concept. With the progress of society and the development of industry, users have increasingly high requirements for product quality. This is also true in the flow meter industry, flow meterWith the acceleration of development, users have increasingly high demands and requirements for flow meters, and there are also many manufacturers of flow meters. At this time, there is a problem of selecting a flow meter and judging the quality of the product.

Generally speaking, the quality of a flow meter is reflected in the following aspects.

1. Accuracy

A flow meter measurement must yield a measurement result of the flow rate, but there will be an error in this measurement. The smaller the error and the closer it is to the actual flow rate, the higher the accuracy of the flow meter. The higher the accuracy, the higher the requirements for the production process of the flow meter.

No instrument can accurately measure the true value of the measured fluid, it can only be said to be as close as possible to the actual flow rate. Many industrial productions now require high-precision flow meters, so it is important to consider this accuracy when purchasing. As an industrial instrument, most flow meters are 1.0 and 1.5, but they can also achieve accuracy levels of 0.5 and 0.2.

2. Sensitivity

What is sensitivity and where does it come from. Generally speaking, this sensitivity refers to the sensitivity of the instrument measurement. The ratio of the change in output of commonly used instruments to the change in the measured parameter that causes the change.

3. Response time

During the use of a flow meter, it is necessary to accurately reflect the flow rate data and respond as quickly as possible. When the measured fluid parameters change, the measured value indicated by the instrument will always take a while to prepare and express, and this delayed time is the response time.

4. Zero drift and range drift

It refers to the percentage change of the average relative to the range after multiple measurements of the relative zero and large range confirmed by the instrument.

5. Repeatability

What is repeatability? It refers to the percentage of the difference between each measured value and the average value relative to the large scale range when a parameter is repeatedly measured using the same instrument under unchanged measurement conditions. This is an important indicator of the stability of instruments and meters, which generally needs to be checked during operation and daily calibration.
