Application of whole package online microwave moisture analyzer
Measurement principle:
Calculate the percentage content of moisture based on the attenuation of microwave energy generated when microwave penetrates the medium. Water is a polar molecule, and when microwaves with a specific frequency of 869MHZ-2.43GHz penetrate the material (depending on the specific wavelength chosen), the O-H bonds of the water molecules inside the material will absorb the microwave energy at a specific frequency. The microwave transmitting probe emits microwave energy, and after penetrating the material, the remaining microwave energy is received by the microwave receiving probe.
Based on the attenuation change of microwave power value and the thickness measured by ultrasonic probe, the moisture content of the material can be calculated using industrial computer system software according to the percentage content of total energy loss and thickness.
Application of whole package online microwave moisture analyzer
It can store 30-100 channels and switch channels remotely through PLC. The advantage is that the same set of instruments can test different types of materials.
