Test Principle

Overall water permeability: Measure the flow rate of water leakage through the entire blood vessel wall at a pressure of 16 kPa (120 mmHg), or the water leakage flow rate of a representative part of the blood vessel. The test section should include all parts of the vascular prosthesis that are prone to leakage (such as the site of anastomosis and suture fixation). This test is applicable to various straight or bifurcated vascular prostheses.
