The BA-50RDY fully automatic video melting point analyzer uses a capillary tube specified in the pharmacopoeia as the sample tube. The filled sample tube is inserted into the heating furnace and photographed with a high pixel camera. The TFT color screen intuitively displays the melting process of the sample. The digital imaging detection sensor automatically detects the temperature of the sample during melting.

Precautions for using melting point meter

1. The sample must be baked as required, crushed in a dry and clean grinding body, and filled firmly by tapping the capillary tube with free fall. The filling height should be consistent, and the specific requirements should comply with the pharmacopoeia regulations.
2. When inserting and removing capillaries, care must be taken to avoid breakage.
3. Different linear heating rates result in inconsistent greenhouse results, requiring the specification of certain standards.
4. Fill the tested sample with five capillary tubes at once, and take the average of the three readings in the middle as the measurement result to eliminate accidental errors caused by capillary tube and sample preparation filling.
Before inserting the capillary tube into the instrument, use a soft cloth to remove any external contaminants to prevent the oil bath from getting dirty.
