Overview

The Lake Shore CRX-VF low-temperature vacuum probe station in the United States is a low-cost probe station that does not require low-temperature refrigerants. It can perform non-destructive testing on devices, and the maximum size of the device can reach 51mm (2-inch). It can provide a testing platform for measuring the electrical, optoelectronic, parameter, high-Z, DC, RF, and microwave characteristics of materials or devices. Generally speaking, nanoelectronic materials, quantum wires, quantum dots, and semiconductor materials are typical materials for measurement in CRX-VF. There are various types of probes, test cables, and sample racks available for the system to meet the needs of different users.

Product Introduction

Using Sumitiomo's 4K closed-loop refrigeration system, there is no need to consume liquid helium or liquid nitrogen. The CRX-VF low-temperature vacuum probe station can provide a maximum superconducting magnetic field of 22.5KOe (2.25T) *, with a temperature range of 10K-500K. Each low-temperature sample level is equipped with a thermometer and heater, which can provide fast thermal response, quickly return to room temperature, and facilitate sample replacement. The thermal radiation screen greatly reduces blackbody radiation and improves cooling efficiency.

The system has been carefully designed to reduce vibration, using various damping devices to prevent mechanical vibrations from affecting the measurement performance. Within the full temperature range, the vibration of the sample is less than 1um (X, Y, Z axis).

The Lake Shore CRX-VF low-temperature vacuum probe station in the United States can install up to 6 micro adjustable probe arms, and the probes on each probe arm can be positioned in the 3D direction. The microwave probe can rotate ± 5 ° to better match the sample with the probe. DC probe has low noise, low leakage current, and good thermal contact. The RF probe frequency is configured to 67GHz, and the light can be incident through a window or imported through a fiber optic cable. Specialized probes are classified into various types based on size and material, reducing thermal mass and optimizing electrical contact with the device. Each probe conducts heat directly with the cold head, reducing the heat transfer from the probe to the sample.
