The ceramic particle sand ball mill is mainly used for ceramic particle milling operations. Plays an important role in the process of material grinding and milling.

Production process of ceramic particle sand
1. The extracted bauxite generally has a block size of around 300-500mm and contains a small amount of moisture. Generally, a two-stage crushing system consisting of jaw crushers and hammer crushers is used to control the particle size to ≤ 8mm.
After entering the factory, the bauxite can be stacked separately according to different grades. Use according to the indicators when using.
Manganese (Mn) element is usually added during the production of ceramic sand to lower the sintering temperature and dye the product dark. At present, most domestic manufacturers use low-grade (content~50%) manganese ore or manganese ash as the source of manganese element.

2. Ingredients:
Several materials such as bauxite, manganese powder, and recycled materials are transported to their respective material warehouses, and speed controlled belt scales are installed under the warehouses to achieve automatic material batching and measurement.
3. Grinding:
Generally, a ball mill that combines drying and grinding is used, accompanied by an efficient powder selector, to form a closed-loop system. This way, the efficiency of grinding is high.
The hot air for drying materials can come from the exhaust gas of the rotary kiln, achieving waste heat utilization; Special hot air stoves can also be set up.

4. Ball making:
The raw material powder produced by grinding is stored in the raw material warehouse. Generally, 2-3 warehouses are set up, which can be used for separate discharge or multiple warehouses can be used for combined discharge.
The raw material powder is fed into a small silo, and a spiral measuring device or a speed regulating belt scale device is installed under the silo to measure the amount of raw material. The raw material enters the disc ball making machine. At the same time, a flow meter can be used to measure the amount of water, which is sprayed into the disc ball making machine by a pipeline pump. During the rotation process of the ball making machine, various particle sizes of material balls can be produced.
After the material balls are discharged from the tray, they are sent to the screening device by the belt conveyor. Qualified ones enter the rotary kiln, while oversized ones return to the raw material grinding process.
Different numbers of disc ball making machines can be equipped according to the output of different kilns.
The ball making system has a high degree of automation and continuous process. After being equipped with a bag filter, it can achieve the standard of post dust and purify the working environment of the post.

5. Calcination:
The material ball enters a rotary kiln with a certain slope for calcination. As the rotary kiln rotates, the material ball rolls towards the kiln head, and at the same time, coal powder is sprayed into the kiln from the kiln head for combustion. The material ball is calcined into high-strength ceramic sand in the rotary kiln.
The coal powder burner can use a single air duct coal injection pipe, which is simple, reliable, and has a high primary air volume; Multi duct burners can also be used, which can reduce the primary air volume to 8% of the required air volume for coal powder combustion, increasing the secondary air volume entering the kiln and achieving significant energy-saving effects. Multi duct burners are divided into external axial flow air, coal air, internal axial flow air, etc., and the flame shape is very easy to adjust.
The measurement of coal powder can be carried out using a rotary measuring scale or a Coriolis force scale to accurately control the coal quantity and stabilize the thermal system inside the kiln.
6. Coal powder preparation:
The preparation of coal powder can be carried out by ball milling or vertical milling, and hot air can be extracted from the kiln hood to dry the coal powder. The use of a dynamic powder selector allows for arbitrary adjustment of coal powder fineness, providing conditions for the full combustion of coal powder.
7. Finished product cooling:
The cooling of ceramic sand generally adopts a rotary cooler, which is simple and reliable in operation. The secondary air of the cooler completely enters the kiln, and with the use of multi-channel burners, it can save a lot of energy consumption. The temperature of the ceramic sand coming out of the cooling machine is very low and can be picked up by hand.
8. Screening:
The ceramic sand from the cooling machine can be directly transported to a multi-stage vibrating screen and divided into multiple particle size grades according to requirements.

9. Packaging
After screening, the ceramic particle sand enters different circular warehouses, where electronic weighing scales are installed. Bagged finished products with qualified weight are sealed by a sewing machine and stored in the finished product warehouse for shipment.
Bag filters are installed at all dust collection points in the process to achieve clean production.
