Overview: The $r $nBSD2 series plug-in intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is an electromagnetic induction flow meter consisting of a sensor and an intelligent converter. It can measure the volumetric flow rate of various conductive liquids. This product is mainly used in industries such as petrochemicals, electricity, metallurgy, steel, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, as well as in municipal environmental protection, water conservancy, and other fields.

BSD2The plug-in intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter consists of a sensor and a signal converter, which can be divided into two types of structures: integrated and separated according to the assembly form of the converter and sensor.

Integrated: The converter and sensor are directly assembled as a whole and cannot be separated.

Split type: The converter is composed of a cable and a sensor to form a product. The sensor is installed on site (or in places with harsh conditions or inconvenient reading for personnel), and the converter is installed in places with better conditions.

Measuring principle

The working principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. That is, when a conductor moves in a cutting magnetic field, an induced electromotive force is generated in the conductor, and the induced electromotive force UE is

When measuring flow rate, the liquid flows through a magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction, and the flow of conductive liquid induces a voltage proportional to the average flow velocity (i.e. volume flow rate). The induced voltage signal is detected through two electrodes in direct contact with the liquid and sent to an amplifier, which then converts it into a standard signal output.

Features

On site, there is no need to cut off, disconnect, or stop production. It can be installed online under pressure (working pressure less than 0.8MPa), eliminating the need for bypass and saving three valves. Compared to pipeline electromagnetic flow meters with a diameter greater than DN200, it has a significantly higher cost-effectiveness.

High precision, good stability, and not affected by changes in the temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, and conductivity of the measured liquid.

The sensor has a simple structure, no throttling device, no blockage, and is suitable for measuring liquids containing solid particles, fibers, and suspended solids.

It can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, as long as the measuring tube is filled with liquid and free of bubbles.

The measurement range is wide, with a ratio of 100:1, and the range can be modified.

On site zero calibration is possible without affecting measurement accuracy.

Low power consumption, less than 7W.

On site LCD displays instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, flow percentage, fluid flow rate, and fault alarm.
